It is your responsibility to be aware of the proper tank parameters needed for the livestock you have purchased. We highly encourage acclimating your new arrivals in your tank by following these steps.

1: Float all new arrivals in your tank for 20-30 minutes (This helps the water in the bags to slowly temperature-adjust to the temperature of your tank without shocking the livestock)

2: After floating the bag open the bag and pour the contents into a separate container, pour a small amount of water from your tank into the container with the livestock, and repeat this process every 5-10 minutes for approximately 30 minutes (This will slowly adjust the parameters to the parameters in your tank without shocking the livestock)

 #3 After 30 minutes, remove the livestock from the container and add to your tank, and discard of the shipping material and contents appropriately.
